Nice job D-2 SJS Teams

Oakdale,Inderkum, Rocklin, Sierra, Placer, and last but not least DEL ORO!

It's too bad only 1 team from SJS D2 playoffs will go to a CIF state bowl game. But, should Del Oro (and Rocklin) not win D2 sections, the door will be open for Oakdale, Inderkum, Sierra, Placer, and others SJS to battle it out in their own respective division section playoffs for the opportunity to represent NorCal in a CIF state bowl game.

Should Del Oro or Rocklin win SJS D2, that would eliminate Grant and St. Mary's. Many consider this a longshot, but after a proven demonstration of how good Del Oro is in beating Granite Bay (Rocklin gets their shot at GB this Friday ... and it will be on TV), a Del Oro team in the CIF SBG (possibly Open game) is not out of the question.

It's too bad the SJS playoff divisions were not aligned with the CIF SBG divisions. In any case, we can be assured SJS will have a team or 2 in the CIF state bowl games. GO SJS!
