| Gotta wait until all the men answer the call in late July. Coaches will weed out the wannabes quite quickly and depth at each position will determine if some will stay/go and some will red shirt... because every year is a rebuilding year in JC football. No scholarship players here and nothing is a sure thing. "ONE" | |

"ONE" You're right about all that. You brought up a very good point about depth at each position. A winning program must have quality depth at each position to make a run at a championship. Do you agree that the team build around the core of sophomores with their talents and leadership, while adding the freshman in for the quality depth that is needed to rebuild at the JC level? Just a quick question. Has anyone been out to MJC's 7 on 7 practice. If so, how do they look? | |

| I agree Fan. A competitive JC football team must build around the veteran players and add some quality new players to the mix. That is the only way the newbies can learn the system and become productive to the team. | |

| Anyone who has ever been a part of MJC knows that yes they do build around their core of returning players and do fill in the spots with quality freshmen that can step it up. Yes it is funny how they weed themselve out 100 people the first 2 days down to 50 or 60 first game. Pirate Pride | |
