| I did watch a few of them.GB handled CN pretty easily.GB is loaded.2 full varsity squads.LC is athletic with good speed, but seemed to be lacking discipline. They have time to work on that.Didnt see Woodland.Galt has speed for a change, small o line and they will hit you on d.Standouts were the rb and a wr from GB,rb from CN,2 rbs and wr from Galt and wr from LC. | |

| Thanks for the summary. Granite Bay sounds like they have reloaded. CN is bound to be down after loosing 17 starters off of last year's team. I expect Del Oro to beat CN this year when they play, which will even their series at 2-2.
Any D-1 type players at the camp?

| Rising Stars Camp @ Sacramento State Friday June 19 Sierra High School is sending two players to this camp: RB Jarrod Daniels and LB Cody Diaz. Details: Camp Description The Rising Stars camp is designed for players capable of competing at the college football level. The individuals are invited to take the opportunity to learn from Sacramento State coaches while training against one another. This camp is designed for older, advanced players and is fast-paced, highly competitive and full-contact. Players will be taught individual technique and will also participate in numerous one-on-one and group competitions. Campers will also learn about the college recruiting process, the NCAA and Sacramento State eligibility requirements and how to prepare for their collegiate careers. http://www.hornetsports.com/sports/football/Camps09.asp | |

| I went to the Pitman camp last week and a few teams looked pretty good. The host Pitman looked really good. They looked solid on both sides of the ball. They should make a run at the CCC this year. Atwater looked alright, too. Los Banos had a couple o-lineman in the middle look tough. I was really impressed by the RB from Placer, #20. He was going through the defenses easily. I saw him against Hilmar and Los Banos. Good camp for three days in Turlock. | |

| Is it true that MJC takes part in this passing tournament, too? If so, that should be pretty exciting to watch. | |

Did you hear they might, or is that just an assumption? I know they participated last year, but just looking for someone who knows for sure. By your quote are you saying the scrimmage against MJC led to the championship? What does that mean?

| MJC seems to like helping the local high schools. Since theres no real contact and no JC scrimmage games this year, I would think MJC would join in. JMO | |

Good question, but I don't know. My son usually waits until midnight the day before to clue me in on details.
I have a date and a location and that's it.

What time does it start SF20? Coach Young of MJC ask for 25-30 MJC players to help out with the Tournament, but did not say anything about participating,Check in time for teams is at 8:00 AM.

| I know Los Banos plays at 9:30....I dont' know if there are any games prior to that. MJC mixed it up with us (LB) last year in Patterson. It was great practice for all the kids. It was us, Patterson, MJC and one other school I can't recall. I don't think they will be mixing it up in the tourney because their players are helping out | |

| That's too bad MJC couldn't participate this year. It would have been nice to see the offense get more reps. The more practice the better for the QBs, WRs, and RBs. Which teams and players looked pretty good yesterday? I know it's hard to tell much without the pads on, but what does anyone think that went? | |

| Los Banos won the tourney. They played CC in the championship. Quite a few teams looked good out there. Modesto is always strong in 7 on 7. It's always a shootout when we play them. I watched Sierra play CC and they looked pretty good. CC has a stud Tight End that is going to make a lot of noise this year. | |

| CC's TE is a big kid....
CC's QB... my opinion is that he's gonna shred some defenses this season.....
CC will be @ a full contact camp @ Buhach Colony HS in Atwater thursday 16th, friday 17th and Saturday 18th.....
