Great Games for Week 7

Here are some close projected League games.

Dont know much about the south area schools but I thaink that NU will beat franklin by a big margin say no less than 16. The GB Rocklin game should be close, like ur score

Sierra should handle Sonora with no problem.I pick Sierra by 2 Touchdowns.

Monterey Trail vs Folsom will be another good game to keep an eye on. Can MT's defense, which has recently posted 3 straight shutouts slowdown Folsom's explosive offense? I'll take Folsom.

I'll also take Pitman, NU, Modesto, Argonaut, Granite Bay, ..., and drumroll .... CC over Hilmar.

Also, will take Grant, SM, and Del Oro win "big" as expected in their games.

End of regulation tied MT 14 Folsom 14. Folsom scores 1st play OT and MT scores and converts the 2 pt conversion to win it. Final score MT 22 Folsom 21.

Rocklin 14 GB 7 ... for those who missed it on TV, this was a defensive battle. Yet, GB had opportunities. After kicking a FG to go up 10-0, GB accepts a roughing the kicker penalty and goes for the TD instead only to fumble the ball inside the 5. Rocklin recovers (momentum changer). Later GB has a TD called back due to a block in the back penalty that occurred behind the ball. There should be no need to block anyone when you are behind the ball. GB shot itself in the foot. But, not to take anything away from Rocklin, Rocklin played "great defense" in shutting down GB's offense and Rocklin's 6'-6" #85 TE Holden Hough was a beast scoring the 75 yd winning TD. GB's stud RB Bolton had to leave the game early and never returned (hip pointer). Athough GB is 0-2 in SFL league they will still be a tough team to face in the playoffs.

Shock??? Atwater not only beats Pitman (who beat Buhach Colong and Buhach Colony beat Atwater), but spanks Pitman 42-14. What the heck happened?

In the SFL, this is Rocklin's year to be champs. The knock has been on the defense all season bc they have given up points. The real truth is they have been playing guys bc of large leads and not using star players two ways. Not to suprised, this is Greg Benzels third victory over GB in the last five years.

The big battle is coming in two weeks. Rocklin vs DO. This will be an epic battle. DO sports 5 Rocklin kids who have transfered up as Frosh for various reasons? They also sport 1 Whitney kid who transfered this season. All starters.

They attended the same camp and yes there were fights.

These kids all grew up playing in the same youth program. Allot of emotion will roll in this one. I believe DO gets the nod but Rocklin will be playing with, not a chip but a ROCK on it's shoulder!
