Finally a game with some drama and meaningful impact in VOL. Looking forward to seeing these two teams on the field. Both teams have play makers who should make for an exciting game.

Oakdale has won 17 VOL games in a row,The winner of this game will be the favorite to break that streak. The odds are against Sierra because of the fact that they have never beat Oakdale in a League game . They both play Oakdale at the corral. I think Oakdale continues to own the VOL .

Watch out for last VOL game of the season.It don't matter what the record is Sonora makes Oakdale play there best or they will have a long ride down the Hill .

This will definately be an exciting game to watch. The winner will most likely play Oakdale for the VOL title, and the loser of this match-up is behind the eight-ball in terms of playoffs. They would be facing Sonora for the final playoff bid in this league and that could be tough. Finally, a game with league implications!

Whistle, you are right about the "guaranteed" 3rd playoff spot for the VOL. But, if the current playoff format had been used last year, the VOL would have sent 5 teams, including CV at 5-5. Of course, being seeded at the bottom is not a good thing. I expect to see at least our top 4 teams make the playoffs this year.
