| I just contacted AC Brown the 215 Masters Champion and he informed me that the last time Oakdale won a SJS team title was back in 1964! 47 years ago! Congrats to the team,staff and yes the parents that busted their butts bringing these kids to the youth tournaments all over the State of California and sometimes beyond! Enjoy the moment  |

| WOW!!! what a tournament!
9 Oakdale wrestlers qualified for state...UNBELIEVABLEY GREAT JOB THESE KIDS DID!
Its was neck and neck at the tournament between Oakdale and Vacaville.
Oakdale finally went ahead of vaca by a half of a point and then right before finals started, Oakdale went ahead by 4 1/2.
It was still any teams title at this point. It wasn't until Noon sealed the deal for Oakdale beating number 3 ranked Buck Hudson from Vacaville that we knew Oakdale had it.....One of the most exciteing and best matches of the day. |

| jordan sepeda won the 189 just wanted that short tough guy got his due.He wrestled a great match.and shupe from vacaville won 285 great kid and only a jr.Funny at first I thought the guys were booing him,but I guess they were yelling shupe! |

HaHa, that would be funny, except Ferry placed 3rd and Fuerestine placed 4th.
Noon and Brown placed 1st along with Garrett Fartado the transfer from Turlock!
Ferry and Fuerestine are Oakdale boys now, people need to except it, and let these kids enjoy there successes/titles with this Mustang team.

| funny how defense will defend Oakdale kids going to Central but Central kids going to Oakdale is a bad thing?What about parents wanting to send their kids to a school for a better education? |

| I just had to do it once. I do find it funny though that the coach left Central and went to Oakdale and the kids followed him. Centrals loss Oakdales gain. Central should have tried harder to keep their coach, Great Job Oakdale you know what it takes to win.
I'm sorry for the earlier post, I just had to do it once like everyone does it about Central. If know-one is talking about your school or program thats when you have to worry.
rocknrolus I respect what oakdale has been doing the past few years to ensure their programs remain at the top. |

hey I was giving it back at you it seems Oakdale is taking the heat off you guys over at Central. I was talking to some of the parents and they were saying their kids wer getting booed at the d4 sections.Come on who would boo hs kids? |

Don't know...It did seem like Ferry was struggling a bit. I just hope Oakdale comes out with at least 1 state champ... We will see.
There are alot of tough teams and kids. Clovis, Bakersfield and De La Salle all very tough. Clovis qualified all 14 to state, I believe De Le Salle Qualified 12, Bakersfield is up there also. But as far as individual titles, I think AC has a good shot at getting one. |
